It's raining again

Vandaag ga ik even de stad in met mijn vriendinnetje Irene. We weten de harde regenbuien steeds te ontlopen. Vanuit verschillende winkels zien we het met  bakken uit de hemel vallen, maar wij zijn nog droog! Maar helaas, wanneer ik van de tram naar huis moet lopen kom ik in een flinke hagelbui terecht. Dus nu zit ik op de bank met mijn lievelingseten: udon beef chili van Daily Wok. Mijn schoenen zijn nat en mijn haar is pluizig. Vanavond is de afscheidsborrel van Georgina, ze vertrekt morgen voor 7 maanden naar Indonesië. En ik twijfel of ik wel moet gaan. Ik heb wéér enorme keelpijn en ik ben moe. Morgen moet ik weer vroeg werken. Dus mijn rust pakken is wel heel aantrekkelijk... Ik denk er nog even over na!

Today I go into town with my friend Irene. We continue to avoid the pouring rains. From different stores, we see it pouring from the sky, but we are still dry! But unfortunately, when I  walk home form the tram station I'm in a great hailstorm. So now I sit on the couch with my favorite foods: Daily Wok's udon beef chili. My shoes are wet and my hair is fluffy. Tonight is the farewell party for Georgina, she leaves tomorrow for 7 months to Indonesia for work. And I doubt whether I should go. I have a sore throat, again,  and I'm tired. Tomorrow I have to work early. So my peace deal is very attractive ...  I'll think about it!
